West Linn (Ore.) junior offensive tackle Alex Forsyth picked up an offer from Michigan Wednesday.

West Linn (Ore.) junior offensive tackle Alex Forsyth. is one of the top line prospects on the West Coast, and he recently became ons of the top line prospects on Michigan's 2017 recruiting board.

At 6-4, 290-pounds, West Linn (Ore.) junior offensive tackle Alex Forsyth has the size and game to compete on the collegiate level. An offer list heading into this week that consisted of USC, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State and a host of others reflects that. Still, there was an offer that was missing... an offer that he grew up dreaming about... an offer from Michigan. On Wednesday that dream became an reality.

“Coach Jay Harbaugh followed me on Twitter (Wednesday) morning, so I messaged him my film,” Forsyth told The Michigan Insider. “He told me he had already watched it with the staff and that he was going to come visit me next week. About an hour later he told me to call him and then he put the offensive line coach on the phone and he offered. We only got to talk for a few minutes and he said he wants to get me on a visit. It's a blessing from God!”

“I was very excited because I grew up a fan of Michigan because a lot of my family went there. They were very happy too.”

The physical three-star offensive tackle definitely has taken an even more liking to the Maize & Blue with an offer in hand.

“I'd say I'm pretty interested,” said Forsyth. “They have a great coaching staff and great up and coming team.”

Could a visit to Ann Arbor possibly be coming in the future?

“I believe so, but I’m not sure when though,” said Forsyth.

Forsyth currently has no top list at the moment
