While Oklahoma City (Okla.) Putnam City West standout Nick Robinson doesn’t hold an offer from Michigan, the 2017 athlete says U-M coaches have stopped by his school in recent weeks showing him increased interest.
And while no offer has been made, Robinson says his interest level in the Wolverines is on the rise.
“It would mean a lot to pick up an offer from Michigan,” Robinson said, adding: “I heard Michigan is a pretty good place. I watched them play a couple times. I like the way they run their offense and stuff.”
No offer from Michigan was promised, but if the U-M did extend an offer Robinson’s way, he said a visit would most likely happen this fall.
“Yeah, I would visit,” Robinson said. “And if they do offer, I would take it as my official (visit).”
Adding: “I would want to see their dorm rooms, locker rooms, and a tour around the college, just see if I like it.”
Currently, Robinson holds notable offers from Kansas State, Missouri and Tennessee among others. He has also been on campus visits to Houston, Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.
“I’m just looking for a place I can call home the next four to five years,” Robinson said. “Have a coach I now that is going to be there and won’t leave. A place where I can I can trust the coach and have a good bond.”
As of right now, Robinson say he would like to commit before his senior season or might wait till national signing day.
