Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood junior outside linebacker Bradley Jennings Jr. is considered one of the top defensive prospects in the Sunshine State. The Florida State legacy currently committed to the Seminoles, but that hasn’t stopped others from pursing him.
One of those schools looking to change his mind is Michigan, and the Wolverines recently stepped up with an offer.
“I found out when (linebackers) coach (Chris) Partridge offered me over the phone,” Jennings told The Michigan Insider. “I was very excited . It’s a very big offer and excited about it. I'm going to look more into it.”
The athletic 6-3, 215-pound linebacker now hopes to see Ann Arbor firsthand after receiving an offer.
“I'm interested in Michigan a lot,” said Jennings. "I like the coaches and how the defense is ran. I will be visiting soon. Not sure yet (when), but I will have to speak with my dad.”
Jenning's Wolverine recruitment may be in its infancy, but a good vibe with the coaches in Ann Arbor has developed rapidly.
“We are cool and it's good to talk to (Partridge),” said Jennings. “He is very easy going. I also think Coach Harbaugh is a great coach and I think he can help me achieve my ultimate goal.”
