Old Bridge (NJ.) sophomore quarterback Artur Sitkowski has racked up several early offers from the likes of Boston College, Rutgers, Maryland, South Carolina and Temple. The talented New Jersey signal caller saw his offer list rise when he received surprising news Friday from Wolverine headman Jim Harbaugh that they would like to officially enter the mix for his services.
“(Linebackers) Coach (Chris) Partridge came to watch me throw than he contacted my head coach and said that (Head) Coach (Jim) Harbaugh would like to to talk to me and he offered me,” Sitkowski told The Michigan Insider. “My first reaction was that I was speechless because I couldn't believe it. It was a dream come true. It was a blessing and humbling experience. I was not expecting it at all.”
The 6-4, 205-pound gun slinger now is very eager about the Wolverines and plans to display his talent in Ann Arbor this summer at their elite quarterback camp.
“(I’m) very interested,” said Sitkowski. “Definitely like Coach Harbaugh and Coach Partridge and just the university as a whole. Yes, (I’m coming) for the quarterback camp.
What stands out for Sitkowski about the Maize and Blue is Coach Harbaugh and simply his track record of developing his quarterbacks.
“His resume and history speaks for itself,” said Sitkowski.
At the moment, Sitkowski still has no favorites in his recruitment
