One of the top offensive linemen prospects in the state of Georgia is Atlanta Pace sophomore offensive tackle Jamaree Salyer. The massive 6-4, 308-pounder has several heavy hitters clamoring to secure his services. With some offers already in hand, Salyer is looking for others to enter the mix like the Wolverines.
Earlier this week, his wish came true when he landed an offer from Michigan and now hopes to visit down the road as well.
“My coach told me (of the offer) and I was very excited,” Salyer told The Michigan Insider. “I've always said Michigan was one of my top schools even without the offer. I’m very interested and I plan to take me and my family for a visit this summer. I know they have good academics and good football.http://www.scout.com/player/198454-jamaree-salyer
When the visit does take place, Salyer looks forward to getting to see Wolverine headman Jim Harbaugh, someone he’s a big fan of.
”I'm interested in meeting Coach Harbaugh in person though just to see the type of guy he is face to face,” said Salyer. “I've always had crazy respect for Coach Harbaugh, I was once a 49ers fan until he left. I've always wondered what it was like to play under his guidance.”
