Loganville (Ga.) Grayson 2017 offensive tackle Tony Gray was in the area, so he figured he would stop by Michigan’s satellite camp in Atlanta today.
“I had came out here because I had heard about the camp and everything,” Gray said. “So I brought my cousin, because he wanted to get looked at a little bit.”
While Gray wanted to get his cousin some attention, he got some attention of his own form Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh himself, who was seen talking with the four-star prospect.
“Yes sir I have (talked to Harbaugh),” Gray said, adding about his Harbaugh conversation. “He was just talking to me about improving things. But it wasn’t nothing serious.”
However, Gray admits the Wolverines have yet to offer.
“That’s the thing about it,” he said with a smile.
Next up, however, Gray says he has planned visits to Virginia Tech, Oklahoma and Texas among others. He also says U-M may earn his next stop as well.
“Now that it’s summertime, we got time,” he said of Michigan.
Adding: “Their fan base, you see their fan base out here. I see their fan base is good.”
And Gray also has a good idea of what he’ll be looking for on those visits.
“If I feel it,” Gray said. “Do I feel home and can stay there three or four years. You know, the atmosphere and everything.”
Gray says distance will not play a factor in his decision.
“The thing about is, wherever I go she’s possibly going to want to go too,” Gray said of his mother, who would most likely move to whichever school he chooses. “So If I move somewhere, she’ll probably go.”
As of right now, Gray says he is planning a signing day decision.
