Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee High 2017 wide receiver Tarique Milton made the short trip to Michigan's satellite camp at nearby St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday. U-M's camp setting gave the talented Florida native a chance to compete in front of both Michigan and South Florida's coaching staffs, among others.
“It was a lot of competition out here, we all competed hard,” Milton said. “The weather was very hot, but that don’t do nothing but get you better.”
And both U-M and USF are showing him interest too.
“I heard from USF already,” he said. “I talked to a Michigan coach a few weeks ago.”
What did U-M say its interest level was in Milton exactly?
“They said they was interested in me, that they wanted to come by and see me when they get a chance,” Milton said of the Wolverines, adding: “I’m really excited about (a possible U-M offer). I’m ready to show what I have to see if I can play on that type of level.”
Milton says his notable offers include: Michigan State, Kentucky, Louisville and Pittsburgh.
“Really, when I take my visits it’s wherever I feel the most comfortable,” Milton said. “That’s where I am going to choose where I am going to go.”
Milton noted distance would not play a factor in his decision.
