It's no secret that Michigan has had success recruiting top-tier talent from Paramus Catholic as of late. Now, it appears that the Wolverines will be paying it forward by inviting the high school into their homes in September.
According to a report by TodaysU's Eric Rutter, Paramus Catholic will be opening their season on Sept. 2 at Michigan Stadium, hosting Maryland's St. Francis.
The report has been confirmed by a Michigan official according to multiple outlets.
Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh will also be the commencement speaker during Paramus Catholic's graduation. The Wolverines signed the number one defensive recruit in the nation in Rashan Gary during the Wolverines' 2016 recruiting cycle. On top of that, U-M is expected to host over 600 campers during its satellite camp tour stop.
In the 2017 recruiting cycle, U-M has been heavily recruiting Scout.com four-star linebacker Drew Singleton, who was teammates with Gary last season.
Announced earlier this week, Michigan Stadium is expected to host seven high school football games at the end of August.
