Michigan has stayed busy in the Golden State offering many of the top prospects and recently extended an offer out to one of the best defensive backs on the West Coast in Fresno (Calif.) Central junior cornerback Jaylon Johnson. The elite defender talks about his Wolverine offer, which was one he didn’t see coming.
“My dad told me and I was shocked because I haven't heard a lot from them,” Johnson told The Michigan Insider. “Michigan is definitely a high prestige school and is just showing me that when you are staying consistent and work hard anything could happen.”http://www.scout.com/player/200039-jaylon-johnson After landing an offer from the Maize and Blue, the 6-foot-2, 185-pounder has now seen his interest significantly rise in the Wolverines. “I'm really interested in the program and they play big time football that I want to be a part of,” said Johnson. “I like (Head) Coach (Jim) Harbaugh and how he is as a coach and I know that they need more playmakers like they've had in the past.”
Could Johnson possibly make a trip out to Ann Arbor in the future?
It is definitely a high possibility,” said Johnson.
