The Michigan football program certainly made a splash in SEC as a pair of teammates made their pledge to the Wolverines during its big camp weekend.
Lee County High School (Georgia) teammates 2017 four-star defensive lineman Aubrey Soloman and 2018 four-star safety Otis Reese made some noise as both players committed to the program on Saturday.
Reese, who had been favoring the Wolverines since they offered, didn't waste any time wanting to go blue on his trip. However, his teammates commitment came as the more surprising news of the day.
Solomon, who made his first trip to Ann Arbor this weekend, surprised everyone with a commitment alongside his teammate. The Wolverines, at least for now, stole Solomon right from the grips of SEC territory.
Solomon's commitment brings the 2017 class' total to 15 commitments, whereas the 2018 class now has five commitments.
