BEAVERTON, Ore. – It’s no secret Jedrick Wills is one of the most sought after offensive lineman in the country. Hence, why he has an offer list that includes Michigan, Alabama, and LSU, among others.
In fact, those programs are just a few of the schools that are recruiting him the hardest, says the four-star standout.
“Michigan, Florida, LSU, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia are all schools that have been on my heavy,” Wills said at Nike’s The Opening Finals on Sunday. “I’m visiting Georgia and Alabama when I leave here.”
On Aug. 6, Wills plans to be attendance for Michigan’s annual recruiting bonanza – Barbecue at the Big House – where he’ll have opportunity to meet fellow U-M commits and rectuits, while checking out Michigan’s campus for the first time.
“Everybody always talks about how nice the campus and the facilities and the stadium is and everything,” Wills says. “So I just want to go see it and make sure it levels up the expectations I have for it.”
Adding: “Just trying to continue that relationship with coach (Tim) Drevno and talking to coach (Jim) Harbaugh some, and just trying to see where I fit in the program.”
Drevno, who coaches the offensive line, has been pressing Wills to get on campus for sit-down to showcase how he envisions using him in the future.
“He’ll just play me at my position at right tackle or wherever they can use me on the line” Wills says of Drevno. “Just trying to get me to come down there and visit. Just so I can see the place for myself.”
As far as a decision timeline, Wills says there is “no telling yet” on when he’ll make his final announcement.
