Will three-star LB K.J. Britt visit U-M?

Oxford (Ala.) 2017 LB K.J. Britt updates his recruitment with Michigan and more.

BEAVERTON, Ore. -- In no particular order, three-star linebacker K.J. Britt says Florida, LSU, Stanford, Auburn, Georgia and Michigan are all sticking out right now in his recruitment.

And t many, U-M may seem like a long shot to land the Oxford (Ala.) standout, although Britt maintains he’s still very much interested in the Wolverines.

“Michigan is a very nice school,” Britt said at The Opening Finals on Saturday. “I mean, I enjoy them recruiting me. It’s just fun to be recruited by them, knowing (U-M’s) NFL coaches – coach (Jim) Harbaugh I feel like he can out you in the league fast. I feel like he can get you better.”

That being said, does Britt plan to visit Michigan soon?

“I’m trying to get up there,” Britt said. “I got an official set up with them right now. I’m going to get up there soon.”

Adding: “I’m just going to go up there and try to get a feel for it. So when I make my decision I know it was good in my heart.”

However, Britt did note he plans to announce his commitment in August.
