Harbaugh Sounds Off on Kaepernick Protest

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh shared his thoughts on his former protege Colin Kaepernick's decision to sit during the national anthem to protest the treatment of "oppressed" people.

Ann Arbor, Mich. -- Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has never been bashful about sharing his opinions. Today was no exception. During his first game-week pressed of the season he voiced his disagreement with former quarterback pupil Colin Kaepernick's national anthem protest. 

Said Harbaugh, "I acknowledge his right to do that, but i don't respect the motivation or the action."

Moments after leaving the podium he clarified part of the aforementioned comment on Twitter.
