When Will Jaison Williams Visit U-M?

Continuing on with our search for solid visit dates, GBW contacted Culver City, CA (Culver City) wide receiver Jasion Williams to find out if a visit to Ann Arbor has been set.

Jaison Williams (6-4, 212 lbs., 4.49 in the 40, 260 bench press, 2.6 GPA, 840 SAT) is The Insiders #74 ranked player in the Pac 10 region, a ranking many feel is very misleading. The Culver City star recently received an offer from hometown school USC, and is claiming to have the eye of many top schools, including Michigan.

"Michigan, USC, Oklahoma, Washington, and West Virginia are my top schools in order. USC jumped way up when they offered, but Michigan is still my favorite." He went on, "Most schools are recruiting me as a wide receiver, that's where I want to play in college, I don't really want to play tight end."

While there has been talk about Williams visiting U-M for the Notre Dame game, nothing is set, "I don't have any visits set up anywhere yet. The Michigan coaches had been talking to me about coming back for the Notre Dame game but I haven't heard anything from them about transportation or anything."

The quiet period ends September 1 so it's possible something will be set up shortly after coaches are allowed to once again contact recruits. We'll keep you informed. Culver City opens the season September 5th against Los Alamitos and their star Randy Estes. GBW will be there to bring you game reports and photos of both standout Southern California talents.
