Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh says freshman running back Chris Evans suffered a concussion vs. Illinois.

Michigan could be without game-breaking freshman running back Chris Evans Saturday as the Wolverines head to East Lansing to take on Michigan State.

Jim Harbaugh confirmed Monday that Evans suffered a concussion in Michigan's 41-8 win over Illinois in Ann Arbor just two days ago.

Asked if Evans will be good to go against the Spartans, Harbaugh simply offered a "we'll see," noting it's too early in the week to tell.

Evans leads Michigan in rushing this season with 49 carries for 416-yards and three touchdowns, good for 8.5 yards per carry.
