Led by Irvin's 15, Michigan tops IUPUI 77-65

Michigan defeats IUPUI 77-65 today, to stay unbeaten early on this college basketball season.

Led by Zak Irvin’s 15 points, Michigan defeats IUPUI 77-65 today for its second win in the regional round of 2K Classic Regional tournament.

Michigan (2-0) led by as many as 19 points in the second half, and outrebounded  IUPUI 40-31.

Derrick Walton Jr. and Moritz Wagener each added 13 points for the Wolverines, while D.J. Wilson grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds for U-M.

IUPUI’s Darell Comb led all players with 22 points.

Michigan next will play against Marquette this Thursday at 9:30 p.m. in the championship round of the 2K Classic in New York, N.Y.
