Michigan offensive coordiantor Tim Drevno sheds light on the quarterback sitaution just days from tilt at Ohio State.

Michigan's quarterback situation will be sorted out in just a matter of days.

Exactly who will lineup under center for the Wolverines at Ohio State remains to be seen, either starter Wilton Speight or backup John O'Korn.

Speight missed Michigan's win over Indiana Saturday due to an injury to his non-throwing shoulder, but according to offensive coordinator Tim Drevno Speight is on the practice field.

"Taking snaps, day-to-day," Drevno said Wednesday. "We'll make that decision when we need to make it.

"It's in the doctors hands and ultimately Coach (Jim) Harbaugh will make that final determination."

Just how long Michigan will be willing to wait to decide who will start at quarterback doesn't appear to be an issue, Drevno insinuating the move could be made at any time.

Regardless, Speight is eager to get back.

"Wilton is an unbelievable competitor," Drevno said. "I wouldn't say he'll lobby, but he's ready to go if he's able."

"We want the best for Wilton and for our football team," added Drevno.
