Since re-opening his recruitment, the former Michigan commit has continued looking at many programs including the Wolverines, who he visited on Friday and left very impressed.
“It was great,” Irvin told The Michigan Insider. “My mom and I really enjoyed it. We saw everything, the entire campus. We were blown away.”
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Irvin also got to interact with several members of the Wolverine coaching staff during his time spent in Ann Arbor, who expressed to him that he’s still a priority.
“Coach (Greg) Frey, Coach (Chris) Bryant and Coach (Al) Netter,” noted he talked with Irvin. “They were just telling me about the team, academics, training and team in general. They want me still.”
While Irvin got to see and do quite a bit on his time in Ann Arbor, he couldn’t highlight one moment as the entirety of the trip stood out.
“Everything,” said Irvin. “I enjoyed everything.”
Where do the Wolverines now stack up to the talented Peach State lineman?
“We were always interested (in Michigan) and they are high on my list,” said Irvin.
He will be visiting Ohio State tomorrow and Auburn on March 4th
