- Running back/fullback George (The Bull) Bell (Sept. 6 official visit, 5-11, 225 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 365 lb. Bench press, 2.5 GPA) from Fayetteville, N.C., Jack Britt. The nickname is mine – he IS a bull! And that scowl he has on his thumbnail photo – that's for real!

- Michigan commitment #8: Safety Charles Stewart (2003 U-M Camper, U-M Nike stats: 6-1 1/2, 188 lbs., 4.47 in the 40, 3.5 GPA/21 ACT) from Farmington Hills, Mich., Harrison.

- Michigan Commitment #6: Alex Mitchell (2003 U-M Camper, U-M Nike stats: 6-6, 317 lbs., 5.69 in the 40, 24 bench press reps., 5.09 sec. shuttle, 20.0 inch vertical, 3.4 GPA/21 ACT) from Bay City, Mich., Central. Note: Similar to Jake Long last year, Alex looks bigger and in better shape every time he is spotted!

- Top junior running back Kevin Grady (5-9, 220 lbs., 4.55 in the 40) from East Grand Rapids, Mich. (Note: this makes a sweep of the state of Michigan's top juniors, with Jr. DT Terrance Taylor (2003 U-M Camper, 6-0, 285 lbs.) from Muskegon and QB Evan Sharpley (2003 U-M Camper, 6-3, 200 lbs.) from Marshall in attendance against CMU).

- Saginaw, Mich, kids:
