The Wolverines were able to make a huge splash a few recruiting classes ago when they signed one of the Golden State’s top prospects in Devin Asiasi. Despite the recent news of the talented tight end transferring from Michigan, could another Concord (Calif.) De La Salle product in 2019 inside linebacker Henry To’oto’o be looking at the Maize and Blue?
“Yeah, I’m interested and always been a Michigan fan because of how good they were when I was little,” To’oto’o told The Michigan Insider. "They were always so good and was a team I would always use on video games.”
While the talented youngster holds an affinity for the Wolverines, it is still a school he wants to study up on and try to get out to see.
“Not much do I know about them,” said To’oto’o. Oh yeah of course I (want to learn more about Michigan). Of course I want to visit too. I want to learn a lot about Michigan like its surroundings, classes provided, campus life and etc.”
To’oto’o is a rising prospect on the West Coast, who already sits with offers from California, Colorado, Oregon, UCLA and Washington. While no offer has came from the Wolverines, the 6-foot-2, 225-pounder knows how big it would be if one were to come.
“It would mean a lot,” said To’oto’o. “It would be my first offer from out East. It is also a big school, well known and a wonderful program.”
To’oto’o currently has no schools standing out in his recruitment
