Despite missing his junior year with an ACL injury, Desoto (Tex.) 2018 safety German Green has still been a very coveted prospect, who already holds several offers. On Thursday, his offer list became even more impressive as he added an offer from Michigan.
“My coach told me and I’m very excited about it,” Green told The Michigan Insider. “No, I really wasn’t (expecting it). It means a lot.”
The 6-foot-2, 173-pound Green says he now looks forward visiting to Ann Arbor in the future, but also getting to experience the weather change as well.
“I love Michigan,” said Green. “I know that they have a good football team. They also have a great school and nice facilities and it's cold out there. To be honest, I do (like the cold). I like the cold weather because I can get warm, but when I’m hot, I can’t get cold.”
The Wolverines have also offered his brother in 2018 four-star corner Gemon Green, who he plans to go to school with, but that isn’t the only factor he’s considering as he notes the few other factors in his decision making process.
“Family and great coaching staff,” said Green.
