Report: D.J. Wilson, Moritz Wagner leaning towards entering NBA Draft without representation

It appears that sophomore forwards D.J Wilson and Moritz Wagner will test the NBA Draft waters.

It appears that sophomore forwards D.J. Wilson and Moritz Wagner will test the NBA Draft waters.

However, it will be done without agent representation. According to Sports Illustrated's Jake Fischer, Wilson and Wagner are leaning towards declaring for the NBA Draft this spring without agent representation.

Declaring without representation allows players to see where they stand on NBA Draft boards and return to school without penalty if they so choose. The deadline to declare and apply for the draft is April 23 with a deadline to withdraw consideration for the draft by May 24.

Wilson, who emerged as a force for the Wolverines this season, averaged 11 points and five rebounds a game. Whereas Wagner averaged 12 points and four rebounds a game.

According to a mock draft by Sports Illustrated posted earlier this week, projects Wilson No. 29 overall to the San Antonio Spurs. Widely respected NBA Draft outlet DraftExpress projects neither Wilson nor Wagner as first round selections in its latest mock draft.
