Texas twins Gemon Green and German Green have always maintained that they are a package deal.
Well, they weren’t kidding, as the De Soto (Texas) 2018 standouts both announced their commitment to Michigan on Twitter, after a recent unofficial visit to U-M this week.
Both are highly regarded, too.
Gemon Green is rated a four-star cornerback and the No. 181 player overall in the latest Scout.com player rankings, while his brother, German, is rated a three-star safety.
The talented duo chose Michigan over Colorado, Houston, Oklahoma State and SMU, among others.
“I love Michigan,” said German Green in an interview with TMI last month. “I know that they have a good football team. They also have a great school and nice facilities and it's cold out there. To be honest, I do (like the cold). I like the cold weather because I can get warm, but when I’m hot, I can’t get cold.”
The Green’s are the sixth and seventh commitment in Michigan’s 2018 recruiting class.
