Baton Rouge (La.) Southern University Lab 2019 offensive tackle Kardell Thomas is someone hard to miss. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 325-pounds, the mammoth offensive lineman sticks out each time he steps on the field. While his stature is very impressive, so is his game by physically dominating his opponents and it didn’t take long for programs to start taking notice of him, either. However, he didn’t wait long to find his next home as he pledged to LSU last summer.
Despite being committed to the hometown Tigers, Thomas still hears from others including the Wolverines.
“Yes, I talked to the offensive line coach a couple of times,” Thomas told The Michigan Insider. That was a while ago and he said he wants to get me up there and I like him.”
Would the four-star prospect be interested in making the trek up north to see the Maize and Blue?
“Yes sir,” said Thomas in wanting to visit Michigan.
One of the factors for wanting to see Michigan is getting the opportunity to meet the headman himself, Jim Harbaugh.
“I think he is a great coach and I would like to meet him,” said Thomas. “I also like the history and I have always liked them. Their energy they have, it is a different type of swagger.”
Moving forward, Thomas also hopes to visit Clemson as well.
