BOWIE, Md -- Michigan's satellite camp tour made its next stop at Bowie State on Saturday, and the prospects in attendance didn't disappoint.
In fact, there was one offer made and multiple top prospects made guest appearances at the three hour camp.
2018 DE Eyabi Anoma: Big time talent that came down strictly to connect with his main recruiter Jim Harbaugh himself. The two of them, he says, have quite the unique relationship and it’s a big reason why Michigan has a legit shot of landing his services. He says he’s planning on taking a trip up to U-M’s campus later this month, which bodes well for the Wolverines.
2018 RB Mychale Salahuddin: The rising three-star back was offered by Michigan two weeks back. He says his instant interest in U-M is due to the presence of Pep Hamilton at U-M, who also has roots in the Washington D.C. area. He’s planning a mid-summer visit to Michigan. He sees himself as the Jabrill Peppers type-player, but more on the offensive side of the ball. He notes he looks up to Peppers, too. His Michigan interest seems legit, and should be one to watch moving forward.
2020 DE Bryan Bresee: He came to U-M's camp as a spectator after participating in the Under Armour camp earlier in the day. U-M coaches asked him to compete, he obliged, which led to an offer at the camps conclusion. He says his Michigan offer is “high” on his list, and a visit to Michigan later this month looks to be in the cards.
2019 DE Joseph Wete: Offered by Michigan two weeks ago, Wete used the camp opportunity to meet U-M’s coaches for the first time. He spent considerable time with defensive line coach Greg Mattison. He has interest in Michigan, saying he would like to visit eventully later on his recruitment.
2019 WR DeMarcco Hellams: The junior-to-be was on Michigan’s campus for its spring game in April, and says he plans to head back to U-M later this summer. He says Michigan coaches see him at either receiver or safety, but his interest in Michigan is legit either way.
2019 RB Joachim Bangda: Already has offers from Michigan State, Ohio State and Alabama among others, Bangda is still looking for his elusive offer from the Wolverines. He's got there a little late and wasn’t able to participate, if so, maybe an offer would have came his way. He still says, however, that he would like to visit in the near future, possibly this summer.
2018 WR Ugo Obasi: Has an established relationship with Hamilton. In fact, had been told to come down to workout and was hopeful of an offer. However, due to a sprained ankle, he wasn’t able to participate in today’s drills and watched from the sideline. While an offer remains in doubt, he indicated he’s still interested in the Wolverines. He also noted he might visit.
