2020 RB Jordon Simmons reflects on Michigan offer

2020 RB Jordon Simmons reflects on his offer from the Wolverines.

Class of 2020 running back Jordon Simmons was offered by Michigan on June 9th and is already planning a visit.

"Chris Partridge asked my recruiting coordinator to give me a call after coming to my school this spring," he told The Michigan Insider. "Then, following the Champions Elite camp in Lagarange, Georgia, they officially offered me."

Simmons, a few days after being offered, has a visit to Michigan planned out.

"My dad and I are trying to get down to Ann Arbor for a visit the last weekend in July," the running back said.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound athlete has offers to play for Mississippi State, Georgia, South Carolina, and Michigan. Simmons said that Auburn, Texas, and Tennessee are close to offering him.

"I was kinda expecting an offer after talking to the coach after one of my practices during the spring," he added. "They said that they really liked me and want to get me out to camp."

Even with offers from Georgia and South Carolina, the athlete from Powder Springs (GA) McEachern said he is interested in Michigan and Oregon.

"I am very interested in Michigan," said Simmons. "They have always been one of my top schools I have wanted to go to."

Michigan has offered running backs Jase McClellan, Lamy Constant, Jayion McCluster, and Simmons in the 2020 recruiting circuit.
