Michigan is moving up in the college football rankings world, jumping two spots in each of the major polls.
The Wolverines moved to #5 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll, up from #7 a week ago. They received one first place vote and 1,335 points overall. Oklahoma (1,551), Miami (1,498), USC (1,397), and Ohio State (1,366) are ahead of Michigan.
In the AP writers poll, Michigan jumped over USC and Ohio State to land in he #3 spot, up from #5 the week before. The Wolverines received 4 first place votes and 1,457 points total and are behind #1 Oklahoma (1,601) and Miami (1,508).
