Best Guess Rec. Class List: QB's,RB's,WR's

With an ever-so-brief and ever-so-slight lull in mid-season recruiting, this is a good time for the Sept. 23rd update of our "Best Guess Michigan Recruiting Class" – the QB's, RB's and WR's.

Quarterbacks

It is assumed that U-M would like one GREAT quarterback in this class – and they got their man in Chad Henne. Will they eventually take another?.

- Michigan commitment #11: Chad Henne (Sept. 13 unofficial visit, 6-3, 230 lbs., 4.6 in the 40, 3.4 GPA) from West Lawn, Pa., Wilson. He made an unofficial visit for the Sept. 13 Notre Dame game, mainly to help recruit WR Cameron Colvin who was on his official visit: "He sat next to me and we talked about how good it would be if he came to Michigan," Henne told us. "He seemed to really enjoy himself. I talked to his (God) father a little and he seemed to like it too." He committed to U-M on Aug. 7th. He visited U-M the June 20 weekend, after which U-M quarterback coach Scot Loeffler spent a day working his high school coach's camp. On May 13 Lloyd Carr spoke at the nearby Manheim Touchdown Club Banquet. As a junior he passed for 2,200 yards and 23 touchdowns, and only three interceptions. He is TheInsiders.com's #13 prospect.
