Sam Webb's Top 20 Michigan high school seniors.

.) Will Johnson, DT/OT, 6-5 278 lbs., 4.71 40 (U-M CAMP), 4.56 shuttle, 27.9 VJ (Lake Orion). Will is out for the season with an ACL injury but should be ready to go when the Michigan players start their informal workouts this summer. (Michigan Commitment)

.) Morgan Trent, WR, 6-1.5, 188 lbs., 4.41 40 (NIKE), 3.88 shuttle, 35.0 VJ (Orchard Lake St. Mary's). He caught a game turning 45 yard TD pass in the 3rd quarter versus rival Detroit Country Day. (Michigan Commitment)

.) Charles Stewart 6-1.5, 188 lbs., 4.47 40 (NIKE), 4.23 shuttle, 29.0 VJ, (Farmington Hills Harrison). Stewart was used on the scout team as the opposition's feature RB during a practice last year and he was virtually unstoppable against Farmington Harrison's defense. The coaches then realized they had found their next feature back! (Michigan Commitment)

.) Roger Allison LB/RB 6-1, 229 lbs., 4.60 40 (NIKE), 4.37 shuttle, 31.2 VJ (Lake Orion). Roger has led his Lake Orion team to a 6-0 record heading into their showdown with Charles Stewart and 5-1 Farmington Hills Harrison. (Michigan Commitment)

.) Justin Hoskins RB 5-10, 183 lbs., 4.41 40 (NIKE), 4.10 shuttle, 33.4 VJ (Grand Rapids Creston). Justin is good RB prospect that I think could do just as well at corner in college. (Notre Dame Commitment)

a.)(Tie) Kellen Freeman-Davis TE 6-6, 220 lbs., 4.81 40 (NIKE), 4.21 shuttle, 28.3 VJ (Adrian). Kellen has led Adrian to a 6-0 record.

b.)(Tie) Alex Mitchell OL 6-6, 317 lbs., 5.69 40 (NIKE), 5.09 shuttle, 20.0 VJ (Bay City Central). (Michigan Commitment)

.) Josh Hunt DL/OL/TE 6-5, 250 lbs., 4.80 40 (Jim S.) (Jackson Lumen Christi). (Colorado Commitment)

.) John Thompson LB/TE 6-2, 220 lbs., 4.60 (Jim S.) Detroit Crockett. John is having a huge season, leading the Rockets to a 6-0 record and a #3 ranking in the Division 5 AP high school poll.

a.) Jamarko Simmons WR 6-2, 207 lbs., 4.58 40 (NIKE), 4.4 shuttle, 31 VJ (Flint Central). I'm doing my very best to stay neutral on this young man (a fellow Flint Central Indian). He turned in an outstanding early season performance, with 10 catches for 186 yards and three touchdowns. He currently has an offer from the Akron Zips.

b.) Carl Grimes WR 5-8.5, 170 lbs., 4.45 40 (Jim. S), 4.07 shuttle, 31.6 VJ (Detroit St Martin De Porres)

.) Vernon Gholston DE/LB 6-3 238 lbs., 4.45 40 (NIKE) (Detroit Cass Tech). Three games into the season he had 26 tackles, 5 sacks, and one forced fumble. A few of Michigan's coaches attended a couple of games and saw enough to add their offer to a list that already included Ohio State and Michigan State.
