Ted Ginn (Nov. 21 official visit, NIKE Camp stats - 5-11.5, 169 lbs., 4.31 in the 40) is TheInsiders #1 ranked defensive back in the Big Ten region, #2 ranked DB in the country, and #12 overall. GoBlueWovlerine Magazine spoke with his father and coach, Ted, Sr, Tuesday night. "We're coming up to Michigan on November 21st for the Ohio State game," Ted, Sr. said. "That may change if we're still in the playoffs, but right now that's when it's set."
Ted, Sr. told GBW they had three official visits already set up for the talented speedster. "We'll be going to Ohio State on December 5th and 6th, then to USC on December 12th," he said. "We may also go to Miami and Pittsburg, and possibly Iowa."
Ted, Jr. also runs track and his father said that would be an important factor in his son's choice of schools. He didn't give us a list of favorites other than the schools he will visit, and said a decision will be made in January.
The Tarblooders open up the playoff season against St. Ignatious, which is the school of another U-M target, Michael Massey.
