Speedy FL WR Likes Michigan

GoBlueWovlerine Magazine spoke Tuesday with one of the fastest wide receivers in the state of Florida. He plans on making a trek up north for an official visit to Ann Arbor. The question is, when?

Located in Southwest Florida, Immokalee High School is home to speedster McIntosh Nicolas (6-2, 190 lbs, 4.3 in the 40, 2.7 GPA). He ran a blazing fast 4.3 this summer at the Florida camp. He also lists a 10.2 hundred. GBW spoke with Nicolas on Tuesday. "I talked with the receivers coach (Campbell) a little while ago and we're trying to get a visit set up for December." he said.

Nicolas has already taken official visits to LSU and Michigan State and wants to trip to Florida and Miami, as well as Michigan. "I like that Michigan always has good teams," Nicolas said. "I also like that they pass a alot. They use their receivers all the time."

He said Michigan is primarily recruiting him as a wide-out, but he has no problem playing wherever he is needed. "I play corner and wide receiver for my team," he said. "I really don't care where I play in college as long as I play, it doesn't matter."

Nicolas said he hasn't really thought about making a decision yet and is just taking his time. He says he'll probably wait until the very end. "I'm just having fun now and concentrating on the playoffs," he said. "I'll check everything out and see how I like it, then I'll decide." He says Florida is the school to beat for his services.

The speedster also runs track for Immokalee and plans on doing the same when he gets to college. Nicolas said he's talked to coach Campbell about an offer, but hasn't spoken to head coach Lloyd Carr.

Immokalee is 6-4 on the season and plays Cocoa Beach this Friday in the first round of the 2A playoffs.
