Does any one school have an advantage over the others at this point? "I like Michigan because it's close to home," he said. "Michigan State was in the lead for most sacks, maybe they still are, and I like to get to the quarterback."

Gholston said he really doesn't have a favorite. He is set to take his official visit to Michigan on December 5, and will be in attendance unofficially for the November 22 Michigan - Ohio State battle. He's already paid visits to Michigan games this season, witnissing the trouncings of Notre Dame and Purdue. "Yeah, that Notre Dame game was good," he said. "I thought they were going to win the national championship after that." He said he'll also take a visit to Michigan State as well as Ohio State, which will be sometime in January. He visited Ohio State last weekend for their game against Michigan State. He said he wanted to use all five visits but wasn't sure where the other two will be. He said he'll make his decision after he's taken all of his visits.

Gholston plays linebacker and guard, but said schools are recruiting him primarily as a defensive end. Cass Tech finished the year 6-4.
