Adrian Arrington Changing Visits

GoBlueWolverine Magazine spoke Wednesday with the head football coach at George Washington (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) High School. He said his star WR Adrian Arrington has changed his visit schedule around a bit.

Paul James, head football coach at George Washington (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) High School, said he hadn't spoken to his star WR Adrian Arrington (2002 U-M Camper, U-M Nike stats: 6-4, 177 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 32.4 inch vertical, 4.28 sec. Shuttle … 3.5 GPA) since he returned from his visit to Michigan on Monday, but he did inform GBW of Arrington's next visits. "He'll be going to Iowa this weekend then he'll go out to UCLA in January," James said.

James said he didn't know of any one school that stood out for Arrington, but did say his list was most likely down to Pitt (11/28), Michigan (12/12), Iowa (12/19), and UCLA (Jan).

On the season James said Arrington had 57 catches for 914 yards and 10 touchdown's and one two-point conversion catch on offense. He said the gifted speedster also had nine kickoff returns for 312 yards, including a 91 yard return for a touchdown. Arrington also had 12 punt returns for 102 yards and no TD's.

Defensively Arrington had one fumble recovery for a TD, James said.

James said this about Arrington, "He is a gifted athlete, He has great hands and makes really acrobatic catches and is extremely elusive. His height and 4.5 speed is what catches the attention of the college coaches."

James said his four-star player will make his decision sometime towards the end of January.
