Chris Graham (Dec. 12 official visit, 2003 U-M Camper, 5-11, 205 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 360-lb. bench press, 2.1 GPA) from Indianapolis, Ind., Warren Central is quoted in the Indianapolis Star as saying at the banquet (where he was named the State of Indiana's top high school linebacker):
"In the end, after considering the players, coaches and academics at each school, I decided Michigan was the best place for me," Graham said.
When GBW reached Chris this evening he reiterated those sentiments:
"I sat down with my parents and we decided that I had all of my visits in," he said. "I already visited Michigan and Purdue on officials and I had visited Tennessee over the past two spring breaks. When we got down to the pros and cons of each place and where I felt the most comfortable, Michigan was the place for me."
"I really liked all three schools a lot. But Michigan seemed to have the best of what I was looking for. They had the best academic support between the three and that is the first thing I looked at when I was at each schoool."
The only outstanding question with Chris remains academics but he told us that he'll know more on that front in a few weeks."
"I took the SAT last May and I took the ACT a few weeks ago. I haven't gotten the results back yet."
