Gallimore Picks Michigan!

Kanasas City offensive lineman Brett Gallimore has made his decision, according to his father.

**NOON UPDATE**
Brett has announced -- It's Michigan! Brett's dad told us this morning why they picked the Wolverines!

We talked at 10 AM this morning to the father of TheInsiders #96 prospect, O-Liner Brett Gallimore (Nov. 22 official visit, 6-5, 290 lbs., 5.1 in the 40, 300-lb. bench press, 2.6 GPA) from Riverside, Mo., Park Hill South (Kansas City area), who told us Brett's decision.

"It's Michigan of course. He's told Coach Moeller."

"There were a lot of good schools that we looked at. But there were two advantages that Michigan had."

"One advantage was Brett's rapport with Andy Moeller. Brett met the Florida State offensive line coach, but he wasn't Brett's recruiter so Brett didn't know him as well. We have a great appreciation for Florida State as well, but this was an advantage for Michigan."

"The other advantage for Michigan is academics. On the football side, he could play early at some places ... but there is the degree you get at Michigan. Brett's brother is one who did the leg work with respect to academics. His brother told him that if something happens to his football career, a Michigan degree does open doors."

"Those are the big differences for Brett between Michigan and the other schools."

Brett himself said at noon on that it's ... "Michigan! I just feel more comfortable there and really enjoyed Coach Moeller, who recruited me and will be my position coach. I really think I will fit in with the players at Michigan too." He added: "I also liked the folks at Florida State. The game atmospheres at both places are terrific. Education-wise, I think Michigan might be a little better."
