Germany Gets a Visitor

Pomona (Calif) LB/DL Eugene Germany is scheduled to visit USC this weekend for the last of his five official visits. Tuesday he had a visitor of his own as Michigan Coach Ron English was in the Germnay home. GoBlueWolverine Magazine spoke with the big man about the visit.

"Coach E (English) was here today and at my school but he was mainly talking to my mom about Michigan," Pomona DL Eugene Germany (Oct. 18 official visit, USC Nike stats: 6-3 1/2, 248 lbs…. 4.65 in the 40, 2.3 GPA, ACT 12/13) said. "I'm visiting USC this weekend and he wanted to talk about that. I'm not sure where I'll go yet but Michigan is looking good. I'll know after this weekend and announce after the visit. I'm looking forward to this being over, I'm tired."

Germnay's team-mate, DB Keston Cheathem, announced for the Wolverines at the CaliFlorida Bowl game on Jan. 2. "Keston did what Keston did, but it doesn't effect me and where I'll go," Germany said. "It's between Michigan, USC, Tennessee, and Oregon State." He had also originally planned to announce at the CliFlorida Bowl but postponed the date until after his USC visit.

Germany has had academic support, a family atmosphere, and playing time as the main things he is looking at in a school. He says all the school on his list offer all these in their own way. He's visited Washington State (10/3), Michigan (10/17), Oregon State (10/31), and Tennessee (12/13). All the schools on his visit list are still in the race except for Washington State.
