There is a report in the Los Angeles Daily News that Eugene Germany (Oct. 18 official visit, USC Nike stats: 6 foot 3 1/2, 248 pounds. 4.65 in the 40, 2.3 GPA), a linebacker/defensive end prospect out of Pomona (Calif.) High School, committed to play football for the USC Trojans. Germany, long considered to be a strong U-M lean, has been unavailable for comment.
Germany's team-mate, Keston Cheathem, announced for Michigan on Jan. 2 at the CaliFlorida Bowl game.
