SuperPrep has sent out its January magazine issue now (and it's well worth buying!). Here are its rankings of Michigan recruits, along with TheInsiders, and also including rankings from The Detroit Free Press' Best of the Midwest list.

2. Will Johnson: despite his season-long ACL injury he is TheInsiders.com's #63 prospect, and SuperPrep's #31 defensive lineman and #14 Midwest prospect. He is also the #8 prospect in the Det. Free Press' Best of the Midwest list.

3. Brett Gallimore: SuperPrep's #4 offensive lineman.

4. Alex Mitchell: SuperPrep's #16 offensive lineman and #12 Midwest prospect.

5. Roger Allison: the #12 prospect on the Det. Free Press' Best of the Midwest list.

6. Mike Massey - SuperPrep's #15 Midwest prospect.

- Cameron Colvin (Sept. 13 official visit, STAN Nike stats: 6-1, 188 lbs., 4.31 in the 40, 3.85 shuttle, 32.4 inch vertical, 13 bench press reps. … 2.3 GPA/16 ACT) from Concord, Calif., De La Salle. Cameron missed the first five games of his senior season due to an academic issue but has still caught 35 passes for 691 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is TheInsiders.com's #19 prospect, and SuperPrep's #17 prospect. He was one of the top three performers in the US Army All American Game.

- Michigan commitment #11: Chad Henne (Dec. 12 official visit, 6-3, 230 lbs., 4.6 in the 40, 3.4 GPA) from West Lawn, Pa., Wilson. For his senior season he completed 59 percent of his passes for 1,743 yards and 19 touchdowns (vs. only five interceptions); his four-year career total: 7,071 yards, third highest in Pennsylvania high school history. He is TheInsiders.com's #27 prospect, SuperPrep's #21 prospect, and he played well in the US Army All American Game.

- Michigan Commitment #20: WR/Ath. Doug Dutch (Dec. 12 official visit, 6-2, 185 lbs., 4.35 in the 40, 3.8 GPA/1060 SAT) from Washington D.C. Gonzaga. Dutch finished his senior year with 22 catches for 320 yards and 8 touchdowns on offense and had 45 tackles and 6 interceptions on defense He is TheInsiders.com's #69 prospect, and SuperPrep's #31 prospect and #6 wideout. He played in the US Army All American Game.

- OLB/DE Tim Jamison (Jan. 9 Michigan official visit, 6-3, 225 lbs., 2.25 GPA, Dec. ACT) from Harvey, Ill, Thornton. He was one of the top two players in the US Army All Star Game. For the season he reportedly recorded 100 tackles and 20 sacks. He is TheInsiders #62 prospect, and SuperPrep's #28 prospect. He is also the #6 prospect in the Det. Free Press' Best of the Midwest list.

- Possible official visit: FB/LB Brian Toal (6-2, 225 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 10.8 100 meters, 37 inch vertical jump, 3.0 GPA/960 SAT) from Ramsey, NJ, Don Bosco. He is TheInsiders' #17 prospect, and SuperPrep's #41 prospect.

Top 100 Prospects (3 commitments, 1 recruit):

Adrian Arrington (Dec. 12 official visit, 2002 U-M Camper, U-M Nike stats: 6-4, 177 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 32.4 inch vertical, 4.28 sec. Shuttle … 3.5 GPA) from Cedar Rapids, Ia., George Washington. As a senior Arrington had 57 catches for 914 yards and 10 touchdowns and one two-point conversion catch on offense. He is TheInsiders.com's #66 prospect, and SuperPrep's #10 wideout, and he played in the US Army All American Game. He is also the #3 prospect in the Det. Free Press' Best of the Midwest list.

- Michigan commitment #15: Brett Gallimore (Nov. 22 official visit, 6-5, 290 lbs., 5.1 in the 40, 300-lb. bench press, 2.6 GPA) from Riverside, Mo., Park Hill South (Kansas City area). He is TheInsiders.com's #97 prospect, and SuperPrep's #4 offensive lineman.

- Michigan Commitment #5: DL Will Johnson (Dec. 12 official visit, 2003 U-M Camper, U-M Nike stats: 6-4.5, 278 lbs, 5.15 in the 40 {4.71 electronic at the U-M Camp}, 30 bench press reps., 27.9 inch vertical, 4.56 sec. Shuttle … 425 lb. bench press 3.8 GPA/qualified) from Lake Orion, Mich. He suffered an ACL in the preseason). - Michigan commitment #12: Safety Jamar Adams (Sept. 6 official visit, 2003 U-M Camper, 2001 U-M Camper, V-Tech Nike stats: 6-2 1/2,193 lbs., 4.13 sec. Shuttle, 33.2 inch vertical jump … 3.0 GPA/940 SAT) from Matthews, N.C., Butler. He is TheInsiders.com's #34 Atlantic area prospect, and SuperPrep's #5 defensive back(!).

- Michigan Commitment #2: Max Martin (Nov. 22 official visit, May 27 unofficial visit, 6-2, 210 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 305-lb. bench press, 2.5 GPA/24 ACT/1070 SAT) from Madison, Ala., Bob Jones (in the Huntsville area). He missed three games his senior season due to injury, but still rushed for 1300 yards and 17 touchdowns. He is TheInsiders.com's #25 South prospect, SuperPrep's #9 running back, and he played in the US Army All American Game.

- Michigan commitment #18: DL Alan Branch (Oct. 18 official visit, 2003 U-M Camper, US Army Combine stats: 6-6, 305 lbs., 5.2 in the 40, 4.65 in the shuttle, 2.3 GPA/18 ACT) from Albuquerque, New Mex., Cibola. He played well in the 2004 US Army All American Game. He is TheInsiders' #13 West prospect, and SuperPrep's #20 defensive lineman and #5 Midlands prospect

- DE/OLB Eugene Germany (Oct. 18 official visit, USC Nike stats: 6-3 1/2, 248 lbs…. 4.65 in the 40, 2.3 GPA) from Pomona, Calif. He is TheInsiders.com's #26 Pac Ten area prospect, and he is SuperPrep's #46 defensive lineman and #19 Calif prospect.

- Michigan commitment #4: ILB/FB Roger Allison (Dec. 12 official visit, 2003 U-M Camper, U-M Nike stats: 6-1 1/2, 229 lbs., 27 bench press reps., 3.4 GPA/25 ACT) from Lake Orion, Mich. For his senior season he recorded 82 tackles, including 10 tackles for loss and four sacks, and he also carried the ball 144 times for 643 yards and nine touchdowns. He is TheInsiders.com's #38 Big Ten area prospect, and SuperPrep's #33 Midwest prospect. He is also the #12 prospect in the Det. Free Press' Best of the Midwest list.

- Michigan commitment #13: Chris Graham (Dec. 12 official visit, 2003 U-M Camper, 5-11, 205 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 360-lb. bench press, 2.1 GPA/600 SAT) from Indianapolis, Ind., Warren Central. He is TheInsiders' #75 Big Ten area prospect, and SuperPrep's #20 linebacker and #23 Midwest prospect.

- Michigan commitment #17: Cornerback/safety Keston Cheathem (Oct. 18 official visit, 6-2, 185 lbs., 4.55 in the 40, 2.8 GPA, 820 SAT) from Pomona, Calif. He is TheInsiders.com's #33 Pac Ten area prospect, and SuperPrep's #10 Skill Athlete and #23 Calif. prospect.

- Michigan Commitment #6: Alex Mitchell (2003 U-M Camper, U-M Nike stats: 6-6, 317 lbs., 5.69 in the 40, 24 bench press reps., 5.09 sec. shuttle, 20.0 inch vertical, 3.4 GPA/21 ACT) from Bay City, Mich., Central. He is TheInsiders.com's #59 Big Ten area prospect. He is also SuperPrep's #16 offensive lineman and #12 Midwest prospect.

- Michigan Commitment #9: Mike Hart (Dec. 5 official visit, 5-10 185 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 3.75 GPA/1030 SAT) from Nedrew, N.Y., Onondaga. As a senior he rushed for 3,489 yards, including 390 in the State Championship Game. For his career he recorded National High School Records with 204 touchdowns and 47 consecutive 100-yard rushing games, and he ended up with the second highest yardage total in National High School History, 11,045 yards. He is TheInsiders.com's #21 Atlantic area prospect, and SuperPrep's #12 running back.

- Michigan Commitment #1: WR/Ath. Morgan Trent (Dec. 5 official visit. STAN Nike stats: 6-1, 180 lbs., 4.41 in the 40, 3.88 sec. shuttle, 35.3 vertical jump, 15 bench press reps.) from Orchard Lake St. Mary's. OLSM finished 7-3, and Trent finished with 6 interceptions (playing with a soft cast pretty much limited him to defense). He is TheInsiders.com's #34 Big Ten area prospect, and SuperPrep's #21 wideout and #18 Midwest prospect.

Regional Prospects (5 commitments):

- Michigan commitment #8: Safety Charles Stewart (Dec. 12 official visit, 2003 U-M Camper, U-M Nike stats: 6-1 1/2, 188 lbs., 4.47 in the 40, 3.5 GPA/21 ACT) from Farmington Hills, Mich., Harrison. He is TheInsiders.com's #30 Big Ten area prospect, and SuperPrep's #22 defensive back and #27 Midwest prospect.

- Michigan commitment #14: TE Mike Massey (Dec. 12 official visit, 2003 U-M Camper, 6-5, 235 lbs., 4.82 in the 40 {electronic at the U-M Camp}, 225-lb. bench press, 2.5 GPA/980 SAT) from Cleveland St. Ignatius. He committed Dec. 17. He made an unofficial visit for the OSU game. He's the brother of Wolverine Pat Massey. Mike attended the winter 2003 Purdue basketball game. He is TheInsiders.com's #54 Big Ten area prospect, and SuperPrep's #32 defensive lineman and #15 Midwest prospect.

- Michigan commitment #3: DE Chris Rogers (Dec. 5 official visit, 2003 U-M Camper, 6-3, 265 lbs., 4.67 in the 40 {Metro Index Combine}, 350-lb. bench press, 3.3 GPA/950 SAT) from Wexford, Pa., North Allegheny. He injured his knee early in his senior season, but it is fine now. He is TheInsiders.com's #32 Big Ten area prospect.

- Michigan commitment #10: Jeremy Ciulla (Dec. 5 official visit, 6-5 1/2, 279 lbs., 5.0 in the 40, 325 lb. bench press, 3.6 GPA/1100 SAT) from Kennesaw Mountain, Ga. He had considered taking other official visits, but after his Dec. 5 U-M visit decided not to. He is TheInsiders.com's #54 South prospect, and played in the US Army All American Game.

- Offensive/defensive lineman Dumaka Atkins (Jan. 16 official visit, 6-4, 280 lbs., 300 lb. bench press, 4.9 in the 40, 3.25 GPA/1110 SAT) from Sarasota, Fla., Booker. He is SuperPrep's #22 offensive lineman, and #21 Florida prospect.

- Michigan commitment # 16: DT Marques Walton (Dec. 5 official visit, 6-3, 280 lbs., 4.9 in the 40, 365 lb. bench press, 30 inch vertical jump, 2.5 GPA/25 ACT) from Chicago Hubbard. He is TheInsiders.com's #82 Midwest prospect, and SuperPrep's #55 Midwest prospect.

The Sleepers: 2 commitments:

- Michigan commitment #7: Grant DeBenedictis (Dec. 5 official visit, 2003 and 2002 U-M Camper, 6-4, 270 pounds, 3.75 GPA/31 ACT) from Boca Raton, Fla., St. Andrews Prep. He played in the Jan. 2 CaliFlorida All Star Game.

- Michigan commitment #19: Johnny Thompson (Jan. 9 official visit, 2003 U-M Camper, 6-2, 210 lbs., 4.6 in the 40, 3.2 GPA) from Detroit Crockett. As a senior he recorded 140 tackles including 10 sacks for the 9-2 Crockett. He is definitely the ‘sleeper' of this class as SuperPrep's #80 Midwest prospect.
