The father of offensive/defensive lineman Dumaka Atkins from Sarasota, Fla., Booker, just told us (late Sunday afternoon):
"Did he commit to Michigan? I ... don't know. You'll have to ask him what the situation is for him. I didn't go on the visit -- he went by himself. I just saw him for a second when he came in and went right back out again."
Earlier, this (Sun.) afternoon his sister told us, "He didn't commit, as far as I know."
Atkins visited FSU the Jan. 16th weekend, and it is down to the Seminoles and the Wolverines for him -- with FSU considered the leader and most likely to get his commitment.
Atkins' stats: (Jan. 23 official visit, 6-4, 280 lbs., 300 lb. bench press, 4.9 in the 40, 3.25 GPA/1110 SAT).
He is SuperPrep's #22 offensive lineman, and #21 Florida prospect.
