Not Finished Yet!

Big Day Yesterday! But Michigan isn't done yet! There are two remaining top prospects getting a lot of Blue-focus! And there are NEW developments for both, including a change for Colvin!

9:30 AM amended

We'll give you another stats-blast over the weekend, analyzing Michigan's current 22-man class. But the MAIN focus between now and Signing Day this coming Wednesday is on California. Here's the latest!

9:30 AM amended ... can you find the change?

(1) Wide receiver Cameron Colvin (Sept. 13 official visit, STAN Nike stats: 6-1, 188 lbs., 4.31 in the 40, 3.85 shuttle, 32.4 inch vertical, 13 bench press reps. … 2.3 GPA/16 ACT) from Concord, Calif., De La Salle.

Colvin had his in-home last night from Coach Carr (and Coach English) -- and there is a CHANGE! Stay close for GoBlueWolverine Magazine's report later this morning.

Cameron plans to decide on Signing Day on Tom Lemming's Signing Day Show -- probably between Michigan, USC and Oregon. As Cameron's godfather keeps telling reporters, Michigan is the 'best fit' for him -- will Cameron's heart 'rule' like it did for Adrian Arrington? Colvin is's #16 prospect, and a US Army All Star Game participant.
GBW's estimate of U-M's chances with him: 50%+ ... today we are optimistic, but USC still has it's head coach in-home ...

(2) Outside linebacker/defensive end Eugene Germany (Oct. 18 official visit, USC Nike stats: 6-3 1/2, 248 lbs…. 4.65 in the 40, 2.3 GPA) from Pomona, Calif., (underrated as) TheInsiders #26 West prospect.

Michigan Assistant Coach Ron English will go back into Germany's home one last time tonight (Friday), hopefully to complete U-M's comback from USC's recent lead for him. The USC-pulling-scholarships situation 'doesn't hurt' U-M's chances here (or for Colvin for that matter). Eugene will probably wait until Signing Day to make his decision.
GBW's estimate of U-M's chances with him: 50% or perhaps slightly higher now.

One more: (3) - Athlete Devon Lyons (Jan. 9 official visit, PSU Nike stats: 6-2 1/2, 204 lbs., 4.47 in the 40, 4.12 shuttle, 30.7 in. vertical, 18 bench press reps., ) from Pittsburgh, Pa., Woodland Hills. Lyons is reportedly down to Miami, Ohio State and U-M, but the Hurricanes and Buckeyes lead.

By the way, D.C. punter Johnny Ayers committed to Boston College, his only offer.
