Dutch: Reports of De-Commit: "Bogus!"

GoBlueWolverine Magazine received several e-mails about reports that recent wide receiver commitment Doug Dutch from Gonzaga High School in Washington D.C. had de-committed from the Wolverines. Dutch told GBW Friday afternoon the reports were, "Bogus".

Doug Dutch, from Washington, D.C., recently gave his verbal commitment to play football for Michigan, since then there have been reports that he is reconsidering his choice. "I heard about those and it's all bogus," Dutch said. "I'm solid to Michigan and I'll be sending in my letter on Feb. 4. I'll probably send it in about 8 a.m. or around then."

Dutch said he knew of the commitment of wide receiver Adrian Arrington from Iowa, and that Michigan was still recruiting wide receiver Cameron Colvin from Calif. "Yeah, that's not a problem," he said. "Cameron and I talked a little bit at the Army game about going to school together. I think Michigan is only taking three receivers and they have three, Me, Arrington, and Morgan Trent, so they should be done. I don't know if they're going to take a fourth, but they're going to let me play where I want so it doesn't matter."

Dutch's stats: (Dec. 12 U-M official visit, 6-2, 185 lbs., 4.3 in the 40, 3.9 GPA)
