U-M is California Dreamin'

Michigan is down to two top recruits now -- Californians <b>Cameron Colvin</b> and <b>Eugene Germany</b>. Here is how things look -- including <b>brief new interviews</b> with both as we wait for full interviews tonight (Sat.)! Is there anything new? <b>Yes!</b>

Both kids below will announce their college choice on Signing Day this Wednesday -- and may pick the same school. Here's the latest on them:

(1) Wide receiver Cameron Colvin (Sept. 13 official visit, STAN Nike stats: 6-1, 188 lbs., 4.31 in the 40, 3.85 shuttle, 32.4 inch vertical, 13 bench press reps. … 2.3 GPA/16 ACT) from Concord, Calif., De La Salle ... TheInsiders.com's #16 prospect, and a top-three US Army All Star Game performer. He is down to Michigan, USC and Oregon.

Colvin had his in-home with Coach Carr Thursday, and the USC Head Coach (and ALL SC assistants) are in mid-day today (Sat.). Then -- he is planning to take a quickie visit! Here's his quick update to us this (Sat.) morning: Jan. 31: Colvin's Interesting Saturday.

(2) Outside linebacker/defensive end Eugene Germany (Oct. 18 official visit, USC Nike stats: 6-3 1/2, 248 lbs. ... 4.65 in the 40, 2.3 GPA) from Pomona, Calif., (underrated as) TheInsiders #26 West prospect. He is down to Michigan, USC and Oregon State.

Germany had the USC coaches in for their final visit Thurs., and U-M Coaches Friday. Here is the last thing he told us on Thurs. afternoon: Germany to GBW on Jan. 29.
