It's Official: Brinton is Back

The Michigan Football Program has made public that quarterback Spencer Brinton has been granted a 6th season by the NCAA.

This was one of those cases where the situation regarding Spencer Brinton has been known off the record (we told readers on our Premium Message Board not to discount the internet rumors for once), and so it has been a matter of Michigan releasing it to the public. This happened today.

Brinton had a season-long shoulder injury last season, the basis of his appeal to the NCAA. The return of Brinton puts three quarterbacks on the roster for the spring, which must be a huge relief to the Michigan program.

Other things previously known about the spring: linebacker David Harris will be held out as he recovers from his ACL injury, and cornerback Leon Hall will be held out due to shoulder surgery (he suffered from the shoulder for most of last season).
