Spring Game Notes

Today was the culmination of the spring practice session, known as the Spring Game. While the 'game' itself is only a scrimmage, it gives die-hard Wolverine fans, as well as those just out for a nice day at Michigan Stadium, a chance to see the 2004 edition of the Maize and Blue for the first time.

GoBlueWolverine Magazine was there in force and we'll have full reports and photos later today. And don't forget, the Michigan Insiders Hour premiers on WTKA Radio tomorrow (Sunday) at 9:00. Tom Beaver, Sam Webb, and Don Hoekwater will join host Mark Ouimet for a complete recap of today's event.

Some tidbits from the game.

The contact was somewhat light due to injuries. There were several Wolverines on the sidelines in crutches. Were any of the nicks going to last through the fall? There seems to be a lot of shuffling going on with the offensive line. We'll have player comments on who is going to end up where. How did the team feel coming into the spring practice after the disappointing loss in the Rose Bowl? What are some of the players looking forward to for the 2004 season?

One player in particular was named by number of players as one who stood out during the spring practice session, we'll let you know who that is.

Of course, we'll also have reports on which recruits were sighted at the game. All this and more will be available to our Premium Subscribers, so stay tuned.
