"Coach Sheridan and Coach English were at my school last week," Ekom Udofia said. "It had been a while since I'd heard from Michigan so I was wondering if they were still interested. I guess they are."
The big man reports offers from Stanford, Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Penn State, Kansas State, Colorado, San Diego State, and others. "Arizona State and Washington were at my school today," he said. "I don't have an offer from Washington yet though."
Udofia will be hard-pressed to leave the Pac-10 tough. His favorites at the moment are Stanford and USC, and he is on the Stanford campus often visiting his brother, who is a current member of the Cardinal football team, and his sister, currently a student at Stanford. "I'm up there all the time," Udofia said. "Plus, I'll be going up there for the Nike Camp so I get to see a lot of the campus. I'm still open though."
He said the Stanford Nike will be the only camp if its kind he will attend. He said he hasn't decided on which school camps he'll attend though he has ruled out Stanford because he is there so much. "I may go to the USC camp," he said. "Yeah, I'll probably do that, but any others I'm not sure yet."
Udofia said he is looking for a school with good academics, a winning football program, and early playing time. "USC has some openings on the defenisve line with guys graduating," he said. "So they do have the opportunity for me to come in and play early, that is important to me. I want to major in business."
Udofia's Stats: 6-2, 290 lbs., 4.68 in the 40, 380 lb. max bench, 600 lb. squat, 4.1 GPA/1160 PSAT
Is Udofia Looking East?
