Green Confirms Michigan in Top Two

When GoBlueWolverine Magazine recently chatted with defensive end Hivera Green from Conway, S.C. High School, he listed Michigan as a possible camp destination, along with some other interesting tid-bits. In today's (Thursday) Mrytle Beach Sun News, Green confirms Michigan is one of his favorites.

"I'm going to try and get up to Michigan this summer so I can check out what it's like up there," Hivera Green told GoBlueWolverine Magazine recently. He also said he may seriously consider pledging for the Wolverines if things feel right. Of course there is always the possibility that kids are just saying what they believe the interviewer wishes to hear, but on Thursday Green confirmed that Michigan is, indeed, at the top of his wish-list of schools. When asked which schools he liked, Green told the Mrytle Beach Sun News that Michigan and Florida State were on top.

After Michigan and Florida State, The 6 foot 5, 255 pound Green listed Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Florida as favorites.

Green's teammate, Eric Huggins, is reportedly leaning towards signing with Oklahoma and there has been some speculation that the two may wish to attend school together. Green told the Sun News that while that is possible, he has yet to recieve an offer from the Sooners.

He never quits on a play, Conway defensive line coach Steve Hall says of Green, who had 122 tackles and five sacks last season. He makes a lot of tackles coming on the backside.
