101 names that is! Here are 101 - and more - Div. 1 prospects who over this past spring have said they'd attend the world-famous <b>Wolverine Football Technique School</b> this month.

Note: will all the following actually show up on June 20? Not likely -- but the right 50% or so would be GREAT, wouldn't it?

QUARTERBACK

- Athlete (QB/RB/WR) Antonio Bass (Planned '04 U-M Camper, OSU Nike stats: 6-1 3/4, 193 lbs.,4.41 in the 40, 35 inch vertical jump, 19 bench press reps, 3.0 GPA, 3.0 GPA) from Jackson, Mich. He is a Tom Lemming Top 100 prospect. He has a hamstrong injury -- we'll see if he can work out at camp.

- Quarterback Ryan Perrilloux (Possible '04 U-M Camper for a day (don't hold breath), 6-3, 210 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 32 inch vertical jump, 2.7 GPA) from Reserve East St. John, Louisiana. As a junior he passed for 2600 yds with 20 touchdowns; he also rushed for 1500 yards and 22 touchdowns. He is a Tom Lemming Top 100 prospect.

- Quarterback Evan Sharpley (2003 Michigan Camper, Planned 2004 U-M Camper, 6-2 1/2, 190 lbs., 4.7 in the 40, 3.97 GPA) from Marshall, Mich. Sharpley, considered the top instate quarterback and one of the top 5-6 instate prospects overall, attended all but one Michigan home game last fall. He told us he grew up a Michigan fan, and he also attended the Jan. 29 Junior Day. As a junior he threw for 1,950 yards and 19 touchdowns. He's a Max Emfinger 4-star prospect.

- Quarterback Rob Schoenhoft (2001/02/03 Michigan camper, Planned 2004 Camper, OSU Nike stats: 6-5 1/2, 233 lbs., 4.88 in the 40, 29 inch vertical jump, 2.8 GPA/23 ACT) from Cincinnati, Ohio, St. Xavier. He has camped at Michigan three years so far. He now has offers from Michigan State, Maryland, and Cincinnati. He will will camp for a day.

- Quarterback Dustin Sherer (6-4, 205 lbs., 3.4 GPA) from Cicero, Ind., Hamilton Heights. As a junior he completed 135 of 245 passes (55%) for 2216 yards and 17 touchdowns.

- Mikhail Eisler (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-4+, 205 lbs.) from Holt, Mich. Eisler suffered an ACL his junior year, and wears a knee brace

. - Quarterback/Ath. Brendan Smith (Planned 2004 Michigan Camper, 6-1, 210 lbs., 4.57 in the 40, 3.0 GPA/1,010 SAT) from New Hampton, N.H.

- Quarterback Shane Connolly (Planned 2004 Michigan Camper, 6-3, 210 lbs.) from from Endwell, N.Y., Maine-Endwell. As a junior he passed for 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns.

RUNNING BACK

- Junior commitment #1: Running back Kevin Grady (2002 U-M Camper, 5-9, 230 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 2.7 GPA) from East Grand Rapids, Mich. He attended the 2004 U-M Spring Game. The consensus #1 instate junior finished his junior season with 2,507 yards (including 235 in the State Championship victory) and 39 touchdowns. He committed Sept. 8, 2003, after attending the Houston game and before attending the Notre Dame game. He plans to enroll at U-M in Jan. 2005. He is Max Emfinger's #1 Tailback.

- Athlete (QB/RB/WR) Antonio Bass (6-1, 190 lbs., 4.4 in the 40, 3.0 GPA) from Jackson, Mich. He has a U-M OFFER and attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day, a U-M spring practice, and the Michigan Spring Game as well. He is one of the consensus top three instate juniors, and could play quarterback, wideout, running back or cornerback. Michigan leads for him, but schools like Virginia Tech and Syracuse are a threat. He is Max Emfinger's #4 "Athlete."

- Tailback Javon Ringer (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 5-10, 200 lbs., 4.35 in the 40 {2003 OSU Camp}, 360 lb. bench press, 21 ACT/qualified) from Dayton, Oh., Chaminade Julienne. As a junior he rushed for 2,356 yards (10.8 yards per carry) and 30 touchdowns. He has an Iowa offer. U-M and OSU are the favs for the Max Emfinger 4 star prospect.

- Running back Dwight Tardy (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 5-10, 200, 4.5 in the 40, 2.9 GPA) from Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Saint Paul. Tardy fought through injuries as a junior. Tardy had a superb sophomore season that saw him rush for 1,735 yards and 18 touchdowns. His feat in 2002 saw him be selected all-CIF, all-area and all-league. Tardy attended the OSU game last fall and the Feb. 29 Junior Day.

- Running back Dajaune Collins (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 5-11, 185 lbs., 4.6 in the 40) from Deptford Township, N.J. As a junior he rushed for 1,071-yards (8.37 yards-per-carry) and nine touchdowns; as a safety he made 80 total tackles with one sack, seven tackles for a loss, two interceptions and eight pass breakups.

- Running back A.J. Jimmerson (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 5-11, 205 lbs., 4.4 in the 40, 10.7 100 meters) from Florissant, Mo., Hazelwood Central. Attending the U-M Camp with Jimmerson may be teammate Kazeem Alli (Iowa Nike: 6-3, 220 lbs., 4.7 in the 40, 17 bench press reps.). As a junior Jimmerson rushed for 1,445 yards (7.8 yards per carry) and 24 touchdowns; he also had 33 pass receptions for 536 yards and four touchdowns.

- Running back Adrian Bradley (Planned '04 U-M Camper) from Prattville, Ala.

- Running/defensive back Dennis Underwood (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-3, 210 lbs.) from Ohio. We saw Underwood at the OSU Nike Camp -- in a different year he might be a top U-M recruit.

- Running back Antoine Brown (5-11, 185 lbs.) from Portage, Ind. As a junior Brown rushed for 2035 yards (7.5 yards per carry) and 32 touchdowns.

WIDE RECEIVER

- Junior commitment #4: Wide receiver Mario Manningham (6-0, 180 lbs., 4.4 in the 40) from Warren, Ohio, Harding (the alma mater of Prescott Burgess). Manningham, a long-time Michigan fan, made an unofficial visit to Michigan for the Indiana game, and committed to the Wolverines on Feb. 5, the day after Signing Day. Considered one of Ohio's top three prospects, as a junior he made 32 receptions, for 700 yards and 11 touchdowns as Harding went 10-1. He is Max Emfinger's Wide Receiver #2.

- Wide receiver Selwyn Lymon (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-5, 190 lbs., 4.4 in the 40, 36 inch vert.) from Ft.Wayne Harding. He made an unofficial visit for a U-M Spring Practice, and was OFFERed. As a junior the Max Emfinger 4-star prospect caught 47 passes for 1,134 yards and 13 touchdowns, helping Harding to the state championship game. He also runs track, finishing 6th in the state in the 400 meters, and second in the long jump (22-4.5) to fellow U-M recruit Donald Washington.

- Wide Receiver D.J. Hord (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-1, 185 lbs., 4.35 in the 40, 3.2 GPA) from Kansas City, Missou., Rockhurst. U-M is his fav. As a junior the Max Emfinger 4 star wide receiver caught 10 TDs for around 600 yards. He's also run a wind-aided 10.39 100 meeters in track this spring.

- Wide receiver Donald Washington (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-2, 180 lbs., OSU Nike stats: 4.5 in the 40, 4.6 sec. shuttle, 38.6 inch vertical jump, 9 bench press reps. ... 3.4 GPA) from Indianapolis, Ind. He attended a U-M spring practice, and the OSU game last fall. As a junior he made 45 catches for 797 yards and seven touchdowns in just nine games; he sat out almost two full games with a stress fracture in his foot. He is also the state champ in the long jump (23-2.25). He has an early Stanford offer.

- Wide receiver DeSean Jackson (Planned summer U-M visit, 5-11, 170, USC camp 4.35 forty, 2.6 GPA) from from Long Beach Poly. As a junior he caught 43 passes for 850 yards and 11 touchdowns.

- Wide receiver Ryan Allison (Planned '04 U-M Camper, '03 U-M Camper, OSU Nike stats: 6-3, 199 lbs, 4.28 in the 40, 36.2 inch vertical jump, 19 bench press reps. ... 3.6 GPA/23 ACT) from Lake Orion Mich., brother of U-M signee Roger. Mr. Allison told us about Ryan a year ago when we were talking about Roger. Ryan attended the Jan. 29 Junior Day, where he looked 'buff' enough to possibly grow into a tight end. As a junior, Allison caught 27 passes for 620 yards and four touchdowns.

- Wide Receiver Steven Smalls (Possible '04 U-M Camper, Vir. Nike stats: 6-0, 169 lbs., 4.54 in the 40 {pulled up lame}, 42.8-inch vertical jump) from Lancaster/Leola, Pa., Conestoga Valley. He plans to be a U-M Camper for a day.

- Wide Receiver Brian Hartline (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-3, 185 lbs., 4.5 in the 40) from Canton, Oh., Glen Oak. Max Emfinger's #7 Flanker Receiver has U-M in his early top 6.

- Wide receiver Laterryal Savoy (Planned '04 summer U-M visit, LSU Junior Day: 6-2 1/2, 196 lbs.; LSU Nike stats: 4.59 in the 40, 4.18 sec. shuttle, 37 inch vertical jump, 14 bench press reps. ... 300 lb. bench press, 2.5 GPA/14 ACT) from Mamou, La.. As a junior he nabbed 44 passes for 783 yards and nine touchdowns. U-M was his first OFFER.

- Wide receiver Isiah Williams (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-2, 190 lbs., 4.4 in the 40) from Oradell, N.J., Bergen Catholic. He is the teammate of U-M recruit Brian Cushing.

- Wide receiver Otis Wiley (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-1, 180 lbs.) from Flint, Mich., Carmen Ainesworth. He attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day and the 2004 U-M Spring Game.

- Wideout Keith Massey (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-1, 185 lbs.) from Columbus, Ohio, Marion-Franklin.

- Wideout DeSean Jackson (Planned '04 U-M summer visit, 5-11, 175 lbs., 4.4 in the 40) from Long Beach., Calif., Poly. As a junior he made 43 receptions for 821 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is Max Emfinger's #4 wide receiver. He has a U-M OFFER.

- Wideout William Lewis (Planned '04 U-M Camper, GAT Nike stats: 6-4, 197 lbs., 4.6 in the 40, 4.38 sec. shuttle, 34 a/s inch vertical jmp) from Georgetown, Kent., Scott. He is LB Brandon Logan's cousin. As a junior he caught 23 passes for 325 yards and three touchdowns.

- Tight End Scott Uziel (Possible '04 U-M Camper, '03 U-M Camper, 6-4, 250 lbs., 4.75 in the 40, 3.5 GPA) from Murrysville, Pa., Franklin Regional. He is a Max Emfinger 4-star prospect.

- Tight end Anthony Moeaki (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-4, 255 lbs., 4.8 in the 40, 3.5 GPA) from Wheaton, Ill., South. The Max Emfinger 4-star prospect has U-M in his early top 5. As of mid-April he has 11 offers. As a junior he had 23 receptions for 405 yards and three touchdowns.

- Tight end Emmanuel Southern (Planned '04 U-M Camper, OSU Nike stats: 6-4, 210 lbs.) from Saginaw, Mich.

- Junior commitment #2 (#3 before the McKinney pull-back): Offensive lineman Justin Schifano ('03 U-M Camper, '03 PSU Nike stats: 6-4 1/2, 302 lbs., 5.1 in the 40, 30 bench press reps. of 185 lbs. ... 400 lb. bench press, "A" avg./qualified) from Webster, N.Y., Schroeder. He attended the 2004 U-M Spring Game. He told us he actually committed during his unofficial visit for the Notre Dame game Sept. 15, but he made his commitment public on Jan. 15. Schifano is a three-year starter at offensive tackle for Schroeder High School, which won the state title his freshman and sophomore seasons and lost its only game his junior season in the state championship game. He was considered perhaps the top offensive lineman at the 2003 PSU Nike Camp. He is Max Emfinger's #6 Offensive Guard.

- Offensive tackle Dace Richardson (Possible U-M Camper, 6-8, 305 lbs., 5.2 in the 40) from Wheaton, Ill., South. He visited for a spring pracice and was OFFERed. He also has offers from Iowa, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Purdue, Iowa St, Kentucky, Nebraska and MSU. He is a Tom Lemming Top 100 prospect.

- Offensive lineman David Moosman (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-4, 260 lbs., 5.3 in the 40, 360 lb. bench press, 2.9 GPA) from Libertyville, Ill. (in the N.Chic. suburbs). He grew up a U-M fan, and reveived a U-M OFFER during an unofficial visit on May 7. He also has offers from Wisconsin, Iowa, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Illinois and Arizona.

- Offensive guard Eddie Haupt (Planned '04 U-M Camper, Miami Nike stats: 6-4, 275 lbs., 3.6 GPA/1329 SAT) from Merritt Island, Fla. He has offers from Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan State, Maryland, and N.C. State.

- Offensive tackle Cory Zirbel (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-7, 305 lbs., 5.1 in the 40, 365 lb. bench press, 3.2 GPA/19 ACT) from Murray, Kent. He attended the 2004 U-M Spring Game, and U-M is his favorite, perhaps followed by OSU. He is a Tom Lemming Top 100 prospect.

- Offensive lineman Zach Hennis (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-7, 295 lbs., 365 lb. bench press) from Plain City, Oh., Jonathan Alder. He attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day and the 2004 U-M Spring Game. U-M is his favorite. He plans to attend camps at U-M and OSU. Alder, one of the smaller schools in the state of Ohio, went 9-2 in 2003.

- Defensive/offensive tackle Marques Slocum (Planned '04 U-M summer visitor, 6-6, 330 lbs., 4.9 in the 40, 300 lb. bench press) from Philadelphia St John Neumann. He grew up a U-M fan and U-M has offered him. He is a Tom Lemming Top 100 prospect. As a junior he had 8 sacks.

- Offensive tackle Chris Scott (Possible '04 U-M camper (don't hold breath), 6-6, 305 lbs., 4.8 in the 40, 355 lb. bench press, 3.2 GPA/1100 SAT) from Lovejoy, Ga. He attended a game on an unofficial visit last fall (2003). He is a Max Emfinger 4-star prospect. FSU and U-M lead early for him. The Seminoles may have the edge early, but camping would be a promising sign -- and he has a CB teammate, Keith Fitzhugh, who plans to camp at U-M.

- Offensive linemen Otis Hudson (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-4 1/2, 275 lbs., 5.1 in the 40) from Barrington, Ill. He attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day and a spring practice.

- Offensive tackle Jason Kacinko (Possible '04 U-M Camper, PSU Nike stats: 6-6, 300 lbs., 5.31 in the 40, 4.63 in the 40, 25 inch vertical, 20 bench press reps. ... 320 lb. bench press, 2.9 GPA) from Penn-Trafford, Pa. He attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day. He has offers from Pitt, Syracuse, Marylan and North Carolina. He's a Max Emfinger 4-star offensive tackle.

- Defensive/offensive tackle Rocco Cirroni (6-6, 250 lbs.) from Warren, Ohio, Harding. He attended the OSU game last fall. He's a Max Emfinger 4-star prospect.

- Offensive lineman John Bachman (Possible '04 U-M Camper, U.S. Army Combine stats: 6-4, 240 lbs., 5.4 in the 40, 17 bench press reps.) from Moon Township, Penn. He attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day. Pitt is his early leader.

- Offensive lineman Mark Ortmann (Planned '04 U-M summer visitor, 6-6, 270 lbs., 5.2 in the 40, 350 lb. bench press, 3.5 GPA) from Klein, Tex. Ortman grew up in Illinois, and U-M is in his early top five. He's a Max Emfinger 4-star prospect.

- Lineman Ahmed Gause (6-4, 300 lbs.) from Harper Woods Trinity (formerly Bishop Gallagher, a prominent U-M pipeline: Darnell Hood, Markus and Julius Curry, et al.).

- Offensive lineman Joel Nitchman (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-4, 270 lbs.) from Kalamazoo, Mich., Hackett. He attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day, and the Spring Game.

- Offensive lineman Phillip Pollard (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-5, 275 lbs., 4.9 in the 40, 310 lb. bench press, 2.6 GPA) from Westerville, Oh., South. U-M is in his early top 3 with Pitt and OSU.

DEFENSIVE LINEMEN

- Nose tackle Terrance Taylor (Planned '04 U-M Camper,'03 U-M Camper, 6-0, 285 lbs., 4.9 in the 40, 2.8 GPA/20 ACT) from Muskegon, Mich. Taylor is one of the top two instate juniors, and has a Michigan OFFER. He attended the Jan. 29 U-M Junior Day and a spring practice. He attended several Michigan games last fall, and tells us Michigan is his leader. As a junior he made 68 tackles including 10 sacks. He is one of USA Today's Top Ten Juniors. He is Max Emfingers #3 Nose Tackle.

- Defensive end J.B. Paxson (Possible '04 U-M Camper, '03 U-M camper, 6-3, 260 lbs., 4.8 in the 40, 315 lb. bench press, 2.6 GPA/860 SAT) from Greenwood, Ind., Center Grove (Jeremy Van Alstyne's and Adam Finley's alma mater). He attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day and a spring practice -- but most of his family attended Purdue. As a junior he made 115 tackles and 23 sacks. He also plans to play baseball (catcher) in college. He is Max Emfinger's #4 Strongside Defensive End.

- Defensive end Hivera Green (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-5, 260 lbs.,4.75 in the 40) from Conway, S.C. In late May he told us his top two were U-M and FSU. As a junior Greene recorded 134 tackles, five sacks, four deflected passes, and five forced fumbles.

- Defensive end Doug Worthington (Possible '04 U-M Camper (don't hold breath), 6-7, 260 lbs., 4.7 in the 40, 2.6 GPA) from Athol Springs, N.Y., St Francis. So far he has offers from Syracuse, Penn State, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Alabama, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and Boston College. As a junior he recorded 72 tackles along with 7 sacks. He is Max Emfinger's #2 Strongside Defensive End.

- Defensive tackle Marques Slocum (Planned '04 U-M summer visitor, 6-6, 330 lbs., 4.9 in the 40, 300 lb. bench press) from Philadelphia St John Neumann. He is Max Emfinger's #4 defensive tackle, but U-M is recruiting him for an offensive tackle; as of mid-April, U-M may be about to offer him.

- Defensive tackle Ekom Udofia (Possible '04 U-M summer visitor, U.S. Army Combine stats: 6-0 1/2, 285 lbs., 25 bench press reps. ... 2003 Nike stats: 4.68 in the 40, 4.16 sec. shuttle ... 4.1 GPA/1160 PSAT) from Scottsdale, Ariz., Chaparral. USC is his early favorite, with Michigan perhaps second -- U-M coaches were by his school twice last winter. As a junior he recorded 72 tackles including 12 sacks. He is Max Emfingers #1 Nose Tackle.

- Defensive tackle Walker Ashley (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-5, 287 lbs.) from Eden Prairie, Minn. U-M is in his early top 4.

- Defensive/offensive tackle Rocco Cirroni (Possible '04 U-M Camper,6-6, 250 lbs.) from Warren, Ohio, Harding. He attended the OSU game. He's a Max Emfinger 4-star prospect.

- Defensive end Chris McLaurin (Possible '04 U-M Camper,6-4, 235 lbs., 4.80 in the 40) from Orchard Lake St. Mary's. As a junior he made 50 tackles and 9 1/2 sacks. He attended the MSU basketball game this winter.

- Defensive end/Tight End Antonio Hinton (Possible '04 U-M Camper,'03 U-M Camper, 6'5, 265 lbs., 4.60 in the 40) from Harper Woods, Mich., Trinity. If he qualifies he could be right up there with Kevin Grady and Terrance Taylor as the top instate juniors. Harper Woods Trinity (formerly Bishop Gallagher) has been a prominent U-M pipeline: Darnell Hood, Markus and Julius Curry, et al.

- Lineman Bryant Nowicki (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-3, 260 lbs.) from Bay City, Mich., John Glen. He attended the Indiana game last fall.

- DT/OL Ryan Custer (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-4, 290 lbs.) from Troy, Ohio. He is the teammate of Ohio's top DL, Todd Denlinger.

- Defensive lineman Jeffrey Owens (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-2 1/2, 265 lbs.) from Plantation, Fla. U-M is in his top 5, but he'd rather stay in-state. As a junior he made 90 tackles, 15 sacks and 24 tackles for loss. As a junior he had 15 sacks, 90 tackles, 24 tackles for losses, 5 fumbles recoveries, and 2 interceptions. He had a great performance at the Miami Nike Camp, and has offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Florida and Auburn.

- Linebacker Brandon Logan (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 2003 and 2002 Michigan Camper, US Army Combine stats: 6-0, 189 lbs., 4.72 in the 40, 11 bench press reps., 26 inch vertical jump.) from Lexington, Kent., Catholic. Brandon is a two-time Michigan Camper and has a U-M OFFER. He attended a 2004 Spring Practice. He has offers from U-M, Tennessee, Louisville and Kentucky. He's a Max Emfinger 4-star prospect.

- FB/LB Lamont Robinson (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-2, 225 lbs., 4.3 GPA) from Salem, N.J. As of mid-April he has offers from Syracuse, Rutgers, Virginia, Maryland and Boston College, but he prefers LSU, USC, Ohio State, Michigan and Miami. As a junior for Salem High School, Robinson registered 90 tackles, three sacks, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two interceptions while also blocking a field goal attempt on special teams.

- Linebacker Andre Mathis (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-3, 230 lbs., 4.6 in the 40, 3.2 GPA) from Erie, Pa., Cathredal Prep. As a junior he made 88 tackles. He's a Max Emfinger 4-star prospect, and U-M is his early favorite. He got a call from U-M in the spring evaluation period. As a junior he made 88 tackles.

- Linebacker Chris Jeske (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-2, 215 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 4.3 GPA) from Joliet, Ill., Catholic (Mike Kolodziej's alma mater). As a junior Jeske made 163 tackles, 113 solo as Joliet Catholic won the Illinois State 5A title. He has early offers from Wisconsin and Northwestern, and Michigan visited his school in December. He will attend the Jan. 29 U-M Junior Day, and most likely attend summer camps at Michigan and Ohio State. He is Max Emfinger's #4 Insider Linebacker.

- Linebacker Derek Nicholson (Possible '04 Michigan summer visitor, 6-2, 230 lbs., 4.6 in the 40, 340 lb. bench press, 32 inch vertical jump) from Winston Salem, N.C., Mt. Tabor. U-M has OFFERed Max Emfinger's #1 Insider Linebacker, and he attended the U-M Spring Game. As a junior he led his team to a 13-2 record and the state 4-A finals, while making 181 tackles, including 27 tackles-for-loss and 10 sacks. Other spring visits: North Carolina, NC State, FSU, Georgia, Virginia Tech. Other offers: all those schools, plus Tennessee, Notre Dame, Virginia, and others. His father, Darrell, was an all-conference linebacker at North Carolina in the early 80's, and his older brother A.J. is a junior linebacker at FSU.

- Linebacker/running back Jerome Hayes (Possible '04 summer camper or visitor, 6-2, 220 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 330 lb. bench press, 2.8 GPA) from Bayonne, New Jersey. He has a Michigan OFFER and may attend the Michigan Camp. As a soph. ILB he made 118 tackles, his junior numbers decreased to 70 tackles as he switched to the weak side and teams avoided him; as a junior he also rushed for 1100 yards and had 8 touchdowns. He is Max Emfinger's #2 Strongside Linebacker.

Nick Lawrence (Planned '04 U-M Camper, U.S. Army Combine stats: 6-2, 205 lbs., 15 bench press reps ... 4.7 in the 40) from Brighton. He grew up a Michigan fan and attended the Feb. 29th Ohio State game Junior Day and the U-M Spring Game. He is considered one of the top 10-15 instate prospects.

- Linebacker Rico McCoy (Possible '04 U-M summer visitor, 6-1, 215 lb.s, 4.55 in the 40) from Washington D.C. St. John's College. If U-M offers him they will be in his top group. He has offers from Pitt, Maryland, and Syracuse (McCoy's brother, Reggie, is a freshman defensive back at Syracuse). As a junior he made 120 tackles and five sacks. He is Max Emfinger's #3 weakside linebacker.

- Linebacker/safety Brian Cushing (Possible U-M Camper, 6-3, 230 lbs., 4.5 in the 40) from Oradell, N.J., Bergen Catholic. Michigan was in his school this past winter, and he attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day. As of mid-April he has 12 offers. As a junior he made 120 tackles, 9 sacks, 7 interceptions and 22 tackles for a loss; as a wide receiver he made 13 catches for 456 yards and seven touchdowns. He was 1st team All-State by the Associated Press, and is Max Emfinger #4 Strongside linebacker.

- Linebacker/defensive lineman Matt Lewis (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-2, 245 lbs., 4.6 in the 40, 310 lb. bench press, 32 inch vertical) from Daytona Beach, Fla., Mainland. As a junior he recorded 86 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 12 sacks to earn second-team All-State honors. He does not have a U-M offer at this time, but is considered one of the top 10-12 Florida juniors -- and U-M may lead for him. Mainland High won the 5-A Florida State Championship last fall.

- Linebacker Andrew Hawken (Possible '04 U-M Camper, '03 U-M Camper, 6-2, 220 lbs., 4.65 in the 40) from Grandville, Mich. As a junior he missed 1 1/2 games due to injury, but recorded 1,270 yards and 23 touchdowns (as well as 38 receptions) to lead Grandville to the Division 1 semifinals. He grew up a Michigan fan and attended the Feb. 29th Ohio State game Junior Day. He is a Max Emfinger 4-star prospect., and is considered one of the top 10 instate prospects.

- LB/FB Brit Miller (Planned '04 U-M Camper, MSL Stats: 6-1, 234 lbs., 4.76 in the 40, 28 bench press reps) from Decatur, Ill. Eisenhower. As a junior he rushed for 1,106 yards and 15 touchdowns.

- Linebacker Nick Simon (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-2 1/2, 220 lbs., 4.7 in the 40, 2.8 GPA) from Shaker Heights, Oh. He lists Notre Dame (his fav.), U-M, and BC, plus PItt., West Virginia and OSU.

- Linebacker Stephen Elkins (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-1, 215 lbs., 4.78 in the 40, 30 inch vertical jump, 3.3 GPA/1170 SAT) from Corona, Calif., Centennial. He had 54 tackles and four sacks as a junior.

- Outside linebacker/defensive end Carson Butler (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-5, 228 lbs., 4.6 in the 40) from Detroit Renaissance. A transfer from Lansing Waverly who had to sit out last season due to transfer rules. He may be the top ‘sleeper' in the state.

- Linebacker Tom Korte (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-1, 220 lbs.) from Grand Rapids, Mich., Catholic Central. He attended the Jan. 29 Junior Day.

- Linebacker Brandon Taylor (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-1, 210 lbs., 4.65 in the 40, 30.5 inch vertical jump) from Denver Mullen.

- Linebacker Phillip Brown (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-0, 220 lbs., 2.7 GPA.) from Chicago, Ill., Morgan Park. As a junior he made 140 tackles and 8 sacks.

- LB/SS Paul Anderson (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-2, 217 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 250 lb. bench press) from Brooklyn, N.Y., Poly Tech. As of mid-April he has offers from Boston College, Duke, Syracuse and Indiana. As a junior tight end he made 24 receptions for 9 touchdowns; on defense he had 69 tackles.

DEFENSIVE BACKS

- Cornerback/athlete Justin King (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 5-11, 182 lbs., 2003 PSU Nike stats: 4.29 in the 40, 3.72 sec. shuttle {best of camp}, 37.1 inch vertical jump {best of camp}, 11 bench press reps., 3.0 GPA) from Monroeville, Pa. Considered perhaps the #1 junior prospect in Pennsylvania, he rushed as a junior for 1,763 yards (8.2 yards per carry) and 29 touchdowns; and as a cornerback he recorded 28 tackles, three fumble recoveries, and three interceptions. He has a U-M OFFER and came to the Feb. 29 Junior Day and the Spring Game, and he also plans to attend the Michigan Summer Camp. He is Max Emfinger's #1 All-purpose back.

- Cornerback Derek Pegues (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 5-11, 190 lbs., 4.4 in the 40, 2.8 GPA/18 ACT) from Batesville, Miss., South Panola. He has a U-M OFFER. He is a member of Tom Lemming's early Top 100 as a cornerback -- the only Deep South corner on Lemming's list.

- Athlete (QB/RB/WR) Antonio Bass (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-1, 190 lbs., 4.4 in the 40, 3.0 GPA) from Jackson, Mich. He has a U-M OFFER and attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day, a U-M spring practice, and the Michigan Spring Game as well. He is one of the consensus top three instate juniors, and could play quarterback, wideout, running back or cornerback. Michigan leads for him, but schools like Virginia Tech and Syracuse are a threat. He is Max Emfinger's #4 "Athlete."

- Cornerback Avery Atkins (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-2, 190 lbs. 4.39 in the 40 {2003 FSU Camp}, 285 lb. bench press, 35 inch vertical) from Daytona Beach, Fla., Mainland. As a junior he made 39 tackles, six pass breakups and three interceptions. He has offers from FSU and Miami, and the Fla. schools lead although U-M is in the mix.

- Cornerback/running back Victor Harris (Possible '04 U-M summer visitor, 6-0, 185 lbs., 4.45 in the 40, 2.8 GPA) from Highland Springs, Vir. grew up a U-M fan and U-M has OFFERed him. But Max Emfinger's #3 cornerback told us in late March that he is completely open. As of mid-April he has a hamstrong injury and will not attend spring 'combines'. As a junior Harris rushed for 2,210 yards and 37 touchdowns as a running back; as a cornerback on defense he made 45 tackles and eight interceptions. He was named a first-team Class 3A selection as both a defensive back and a tailback while helping lead the his team to a 9-2 record.

- Cornerback Brandon Harrison (Planned '04 U-M Camper or summer visitor, 5-9, 200 lbs., 4.4 in the 40, 10.6 100 meters, 315 lb. bench press, 3.0 GPA/17 ACT) from Dayton, Ohio Chaminade-Julienne. As a junior he made 78 tackles and had three interceptions; he also had 6 touchdowns, 3 as a RB (in a wishbone with Javon Ringer), and 3 as a kick returner. He is Max Emfinger's #2 Free Safety, and has an Iowa offer. He attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day.

- Safety James Carson (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-0, 207 lbs., 4.6 in the 40, 315 lb. bench press) from Erie, Penn., Cathedral Prep. As a junior he made 58 tackles and an interception.

- Safety Adam Myers-White (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 6-3, 200 lbs.) from Hamilton, Ohio. The former head coach at Hamilton was Wolverine Andy Mignery's father. And White's dad played for Bo. He reportedly has a U-M OFFER, he told us he'd attend a spring practice, and he may attend the 2004 Michigan Camp ... but OSU reportedly leads. As a junior he made 70 tackles and intercepted four passes.

- Cornerback/wideout Andre Amos (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-1, 165 lbs.,4.4 in the 40, 3.3 GPA) from Middletown Ohio. As a junior wideout he caught 30 passes for 392 yards and four touchdowns; as a cornerback he made 22 tackles and three interceptions. Contrary to reports, as of mid-May he does not have a U-M offer. He also reports offers from Purdue, Miami (Oh.), Bowling Green, Northwestern, Boston College and West Virginia.

- Cornerback Keith Fitzhugh (Possible '04 U-M Camper, 5-11, 190 lbs., 4.4 in the 40, 3.0 GPA/860 SAT) from Lovejoy, Ga. U-M is in his top five. He is a Max Emfinger 4 star prospect.

- Cornerback Melvin Rice (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 5-11, l85 lbs., 4.5 in the 40) from Chicago Morgan Park. The Michigan fan may attend the 2004 Michigan Summer Camp.

- Athlete Akim Sanders (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-1, 190 lbs., 2.8 GPA) from Detroit Crockett. Michigan is his favorite school.

- Quarterback/Athlete Jermaine Jenkins (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-2, 200 lbs.) from Saginaw, Mich. He attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day.

- Safety/linebacker Sean Lee (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 6-3, 200 lbs., 4.55 in the 40, 3.8 GPA) from Pittsburgh, Penn., Upper St. Clair.

- Cornerback Bruce Hampton (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 5-10, 180 lbs., 4.5 in the 40) friom Bedford, Oh., St. Peter Chanel. OSU is his fav.

- Defensive back Trason Bragg (Planned '04 U-M Camper, 5-10 1/2, 200 lbs., 4.5 in the 40, 315+ lb. bench press, 28 inch vertical jump) from Los Angeles Loyola.

- Punter Joe Kleinsmith from Lakewood, Ohio, St. Edwards. As a junior he had 28 punts were over 40-yards, 66 punts that were inside the 20-yard line, no punts were blocked and 51 punts weren't returned, and the opposition averaged1.25 yards per return.
