CB Avery Atkins,
- the so-so news from S.C. DE Hivera Green,
- the not-so-good news from instaters WR/Ath. Ryan Allison, and DL Terrance Taylor (who we spoke to Wed.).

Last night (Thurs.) he told us:
"Yes sir, I'm coming up. My aunt and I talked about it and she's coming with me. We'll come up and stay for 4-5 days." As far as his hamstring injury: "My hamstring is still bothering me. I can get around fine as far as normal walking and that kind of thing. But right now it's debatable whether I can work out at all -- I'm icing it as much as I can in hopes of being able to. If it feels okay I'll try it."

- Defensive end Hivera Green (6-5, 260 lbs.,4.75 in the 40) from Conway, S.C.
Yesterday afternnon he told us:
"I'm trying to get up to Michigan. I'm trying to find a ticket on the internet. If it works out we'll (he and an assistant coach) be there."
(Note: we figure this one is iffy at this point.)

- Wide receiver/Athlete Ryan Allison ('03 U-M Camper, OSU Nike stats: 6-3, 199 lbs, 4.28 in the 40, 36.2 inch vertical jump, 19 bench press reps. ... 3.6 GPA/23 ACT) from Lake Orion Mich., brother of U-M signee Roger. Yesterday afternnon he told us:
"No, I don't think I'm camping. I'm still thinking about it some. But there are things with my team at Lake Orion next week. And I'm not in football shape after running track all spring. I've lost weight and have to work on gaining it back."

- Nose tackle Terrance Taylor ('03 U-M Camper, 6-0, 285 lbs., 4.9 in the 40, 2.8 GPA/20 ACT) from Muskegon, Mich.
Wed. evening he told us:
"I don't think I can come. I start summer school tomorrow (Thurs.). I'm retaking a couple classes from 9th grade in order to get better grades in those classes on my transcript-- Algebra and English. I'm getting my GPA up so it's real solid and I'll have that part handled. So I'd like to come over to camp for a day but I don't think I can do it."
