Justin King Talks About Michigan Visit

Top Pa. cornerback <b>Justin King</b> made a one-day unofficial visit to Michigan on Sunday. GoBlueWolverine spoke to Justin about the visit last (Tues.) night.

GBW spoke late last night to cornerback/athlete Justin King from Monroeville, Pa. (in the Pittsburgh area).

How did you spend the day Sunday, Justin?

"I spent the day with Ryan Mundy, Steve Breaston and Marlin Jackson ...and with Jamar Adams too. We just hung out, and we visited with other players too."

Would you say you got more comfortable at Michigan?

"Yes. I got to see how a lot of the Michigan players were, outside of football ... they're real good guys."

Are you ready to name a leader?

"Michigan is up there ... I'll say it's Michigan and Penn State."

What is next for you?

"Over the next three weeks I'll be traveling to visit Ohio State, USC, and Florida."

When do you think you'll make your decision?

"I'll probably make my decision during the season."

King's stats: 5-11, 182 lbs., '03 PSU Nike stats: 4.29 in the 40, 3.72 sec. shuttle {best of camp}, 37.1 inch vertical jump {best of camp}, 11 bench press reps., 3.0 GPA.

Considered the #1 junior prospect in Pennsylvania, King rushed as a junior for 1,763 yards (8.2 yards per carry) and 29 touchdowns; and as a cornerback he recorded 28 tackles, three fumble recoveries, and three interceptions. He has a U-M offer, and he attended the Feb. 29 Junior Day and the Spring Game. He is Max Emfinger's #1 All-purpose back, and is a member of Tom Lemming's Top 100.
