Hold Onto Your Hats! Commit #7! A Camp Fullback!

GBW breaks another one! We just confirmed with the home of a top Midwest Fullback who was a U-M Camper last week -- he has become Michigan Commitment #7!

************************************

More on Mister Simpson while we work on reaching him for an interview.

Surprise, surprise, surprise!

Michigan Commitment #7! Another 'Camp Commitment!'

Fullback Mister Simpson (5-9, 220 lbs., 4.5 in the 40 ... OSU Nike: 31 bench press reps., 35.8 inch vertical jump) from Cincinnati Colerain.

Mister worked out at fullback at camp, was offered as a fullback -- and has committed!

More on Simpson:

As a junior he was second team Division one Ohio All-State, after gaining 1,640 yards and 23 touchdowns; as a sophomore he rushed for 1,079 yards and 16 touchdowns.

At the Ohio State Nike Camp he did not participate in the RB/LB drills because he suffered a muscle pull running his 40. But after the camp he came up to us GBW guys, looked us in the eye, and said, "Don't forget about me! You'll see!" In other words, Simpson is tough!

And as well as being a top running back, he has great hands to catch the ball out of the backfield as well.

By the way, Colerain is the alma mater of former U-M FB great B.J. Askew.
